SPOOKLEY ACTIVITIES AND DECORATIONS
We provide fun and educational content, activities and decorations that helps farmers entertain, educate and inspire their visitors. Our offerings include (but are certainly not limited to):
Spookley stories for storytime
Spookley reading at Swank Farms
Spookley is the star of a series of fall-favorite children's books, including the perennial best-seller, The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Readings of Spookley stories are ideally suited for field trip programs and for storytime during weekend visiting hours.
We provide Spookley books, as well as a DVD recording of the story read by Boris "Bobby" Picket, famous singer of The Monster Mash, that can be played repeatedly for field trip groups.

A Spookley-themed kiddie maze
Spookley maze at Schnepf Farms
Members of the Spookley Farm Program often feature Spookley-shaped kiddie mazes at their farms that sit alongside their larger corn mazes. Some farms feature Spookley as the theme of their entire maze!
We supply giant, weatherproof signs for the maze so that your visitors can learn Spookley's story as they travel through the maze (see below). We do not provide maze design/implementation services, but we can refer you to a trusted maze creator. We are also happy to work with you to provide character images if you would like to design the maze on your own.

Weatherproof Spookley Signage
Signs at Back Home on the Farm
We provide weatherproof, decorative Spookley signs for multiple uses throughout your farm. Examples of signs offered include:
- Best-selling books (e.g., The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and Spookley the Square Pumpkin, A Family to be Thankful For) printed on "story trail" signage.
- Signs to promote bullying prevention awareness.
- Directional signage (e.g., "This Way to Spookley's Pumpkin Patch")
Spookley Scavenger Hunts
Spookley hidden at Staheli Family Farm
Kids love searching around the farm for hidden square pumpkins! We can work with you to create fun and educational clues that you can use for Spookley-theme scavenger hunts. These scavengers hunts are fun activities for kids of all ages and also help promote merchandise sales.
We also offer "Spookley's Kindness Scavenger Hunt," which consists of 8 signs featuring Spookley sayings meant to spread kindness around the farm.

Giant inflatable Spookley
Inflatable @ Creek Bed Country Farmacy
An 8-foot tall by 8-foot wide inflatable Spookley is a fun addition to your pumpkin patch, corn maze, or gift shop and is ideal for photo opportunities! It is made from durable, weather-resistant fabric, can be easily deflated for storage between seasons, and has a fan motor that keeps it constantly inflated.

Walkaround Costume Rental
Spookley at Brown's Harvest
We have a Spookley the Square Pumpkin walkaround character costume available for rental. Costume is great for special, promotional events (e.g., outdoor movie screenings), and general photo opportunities. We also provide script and music tracks to incorporate costume into an educational, short-form stage show that you can put on for your visitors! Please click here to learn more.

Spookley arts & crafts activities
Classroom "Spookley's Pumpkin Patch"
Many school groups, after hearing Spookley's story and learning that pumpkins of all shapes and sizes grow in Spookley's Pumpkin Patch, enjoy creating their own versions of Spookley's Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkins can be painted and placed in an area designated as Spookley's Pumpkin Patch that is great for photo opportunities with school groups and families.
We provide coloring pages, lesson plans and activity sheets free of charge to members of the Spookley Farm Program.

"Tag with Spookley & His Friends" from Maize Quest

We are very excited about our partnership with Maize Quest to create kid-friendly agritourism attractions.
The first offering is "Tag with Spookley & His Friends," which is an interactive maze in which kids race through the maze to tag Spookley & his friends, light them up on the scoreboard, and escape to stop the clock. Please watch the YouTube video shown here or please click here to learn more. |
